Weaponry

Let’s talk a bit about weapons, shall we?

We want to provide players with options when it comes to how they want to play Cryamore. The more comfortable personalities will want the most balance, and those looking for a challenge will be pleased too. This will also give an extra layer of replay value to the game. So let’s share the main four:

image

The Sword, known as the Butcherknife, will be the most balanced weapon type. With it, Esmy can swing it 60 degrees in 4 directions (North, South, East, and West). It’s for those who prefer the comfortable route when it comes to combat.

The Spear, also known as the Javelink, will give Esmy a bit more precision in her attacks. This will allow you to jab/poke in 8 directions, though this will result in a smaller hitbox and require technical aiming to perform well with it.

The Axe, called the Pizzaxe, is for the power-hungry. Slower wind-up on animation, but it hits hard. It’s double the attack power of the sword, so it can be pretty fun to use… if you can deal with the weight.

The MegaDart, the crossbow weapon, will appease players who are interested in range . Don’t expect bullet hell tactics here, though. Damage is lightest out of them all and you have ammunition to worry about paying for and conserving.

Esmy has four other weapon ideas she wants to create and have us implement, but that will have to wait until we get funded on the impending Kickstarter campaign looming over our heads.
